Frenchman’s Creek Inc. is seeking an Facilities Maintenance Technician I to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance across the property in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

The role includes electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks with emphasis on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience in maintenance or handyman services, uses CMMS for work orders, and holds or pursues relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, construction, or handyman services.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• OSHA 10 Hour Preferred and CPO Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Fix minor structural damages, such as window, door, and wall repairs.
• Perform basic carpentry in construction and repair of structures.
• Repair plumbing fixtures and prevent water damage.
• Electrical repairs including outlets, switches, and lighting.
• HVAC upkeep and thermostat functionality checks.
• Apply preventative actions to minimize future issues.
• Review work orders in CMMS and prioritize daily tasks.
• Assist in moving furniture or large items when necessary.
• Provide engineering support during large events as needed.
• Assist with special projects assigned by Chief Engineer.
