Liberty, headquartered in Boston and delivering nationwide services, seeks a detail-oriented Estimator to support preconstruction and business development. The role reviews drawings, specs, and project requirements to develop accurate estimates across multiple scopes including concrete, drywall, doors, frames and hardware, and general requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience estimating construction projects across multiple trades or scopes.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, quantity takeoffs, labor and material pricing, and bid proposals.
• Experience with Liberty’s scopes such as concrete, drywall, doors, frames and hardware is beneficial.
• Ability to review project documents, identify scope requirements, and communicate assumptions clearly.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills; able to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office; experience with digital takeoff tools is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, schedules, and other project information to understand scope and requirements.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, labor and material estimates, equipment costs, subcontractor pricing, and other cost components.
• Develop estimates for a range of Liberty scopes including concrete, drywall, doors, frames and hardware, general requirements, equipment, site access, and related services.
• Identify scope gaps, assumptions, exclusions, risks, and opportunities; document them in estimates and proposals.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with operations and project teams to confirm labor, productivity, logistics, schedule, and execution assumptions.
• Participate in bid reviews, project handoffs, and preconstruction meetings.
• Prepare proposals and supporting documentation to communicate Liberty’s scope and pricing clearly.
• Support value engineering and alternate pricing when requested.
• Maintain organized estimate files, bid records, and project documentation.
