Job summary

Liberty is seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction and business development for a broad portfolio of self-perform services. You will review plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate estimates for current and emerging scopes of work.

The role involves working with clients, operations, procurement, and project teams to understand needs, identify scope and risk, develop pricing, and prepare clear proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience estimating construction projects across multiple trades or scopes.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, quantity takeoffs, labor and material pricing, and bid proposals.
• Ability to review project documents carefully and communicate assumptions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, bid documents, schedules to understand scope and requirements.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, labor/material estimates, equipment costs, subcontractor pricing.
• Develop estimates for a range of Liberty scopes including concrete, drywall, doors and hardware.
• Identify scope gaps, risks and opportunities, documenting them in estimates and proposals.
• Coordinate with operations and project teams to confirm labor, productivity, logistics, schedule and execution assumptions.
• Prepare proposals and supporting documentation communicating Liberty’s scope and pricing.
