Founded in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2007, Liberty provides construction and equipment services nationwide. Our work includes general requirements, equipment, supply, concrete, drywall, doors, frames and hardware, special projects, and site access solutions.
We partner with leading contractors and clients across commercial, residential, healthcare, higher education, and other markets. As Liberty continues to grow and expand into new scopes of work, we bring a practical, customer-focused approach to delivering safe, reliable solutions.
The Estimator supports preconstruction and business development efforts across Liberty’s broad portfolio of self-perform services and construction solutions. This role reviews plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate, competitive estimates for current and emerging scopes of work.
Depending on the opportunity, scopes may include concrete, drywall, doors, frames and hardware, general requirements, equipment, supply, site access, special projects, and related construction services. The Estimator works closely with clients, operations, project management, procurement, and other Liberty teams to understand project needs, identify scope and risk, develop pricing, and prepare clear proposals.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented construction estimator who can work across different trades, learn new scopes, and collaborate with teams to develop practical solutions for clients.
Work is generally performed in an office environment, with occasional visits to construction jobsites, warehouses, or project trailers. Site visits may involve exposure to changing weather, high or low temperatures, loud noise, and active construction areas.
The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, along with occasional standing, walking, and reaching. Site visits may require walking on uneven terrain and navigating active construction areas. The employee must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
