Qualifications

• Entry-level experience or higher in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or other related mechanical trades.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and safe work practices related to facilities maintenance.
• Ability to interpret college policies and procedures and follow them.

Responsibilities

• Complete custodial duties such as cleaning dorm rooms, washing windows, waxing floors, and restocking supplies.
• Perform HVAC tasks including motor inspection, cleaning coils, and assisting with hot work.
• Carry out electrician duties such as testing lights and replacing ballasts and batteries.
• Perform carpentry tasks like patching walls, recoating roofs, and installing fixtures.
• Support groundskeeping activities including landscape maintenance and debris removal.
• Support strategic planning initiatives and other duties as assigned.
