Job summary

Central Arizona College is seeking a Facilities Assistant III at the Maricopa Campus to perform custodial tasks, maintain a clean environment, and support campus operations across classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.

The role requires the ability to read, write, perform basic math, and to obtain an Arizona Driver License. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, with wage $16.99–$18.01 per hour, dependent on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform math calculations.
• Two years related experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona Driver License.
• May need special license/rating.
• May work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks to clean and maintain campus facilities per guidelines.
• Clean restrooms, classrooms, offices, theaters, and other facilities.
• Relock entry doors and windows to maintain safety and security of facilities.
• Inspect areas for cleanliness and minor repairs; report problems to supervisor.
• Maintain safety by turning on/off lights and keeping sidewalks clear; move tables/chairs for events.
• Assist in end-of-semester cleanup and restocking of supplies.
