Job summary

Founders 3 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at an apartment complex in the Oak Creek area. The role involves handling a variety of trades across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical systems, while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the property remains in top condition.

You will participate in a rotation for after-hours emergency coverage, and the position offers opportunities to develop hands-on skills across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years facilities maintenance, construction or trade experience.
• Direct experience with painting, drywall and finishing work for unit turns.
• General mechanical ability and technological skills.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Team player with strong work ethic, positive attitude, detail orientation and drive to succeed.
• Willingness to teach and be taught.
• Excellent customer service skills and follow-through.
• In good physical condition and able to perform duties.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property and conduct daily walk-throughs.
• Porter the site inside and out and organize on-site inventory.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and oversee repairs to mechanical systems.
• Perform plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry tasks.
• Complete manual repairs such as fixing locks and replacing windows.
• Conduct general property upkeep including landscaping, pest control, painting and light carpentry.
• Perform property inspections and prepare building reports.
• Be part of a rotation providing after-hours emergency coverage.
