Job summary

Founders 3 Real Estate Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an apartment complex in Oak Creek, WI. You will join a maintenance team handling plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry tasks, with daily property walk-throughs and on-site inventory management.

The role includes repairing units, performing routine maintenance, and supporting after-hours emergency coverage across multiple buildings managed by Founders 3. A valid driver's license and physical capability are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ facilities maintenance, construction or trade experience.
• Experience with painting, drywall and finishing work for unit turns.
• General mechanical ability and technological skills.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, detail orientation and desire to succeed.
• Willingness to teach and be taught.
• Great customer service skills and follow through.
• In good physical condition and have the strength to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property, conduct daily walk-throughs, porter the site inside and out, organize on-site inventory, maintain preventative maintenance programs, oversee repairs to mechanical systems.
• Maintain plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry.
• Complete manual repairs such as fixing locks, replacing windows, minor plumbing and electrical.
• Conduct general property upkeep including partial landscaping, pest control, painting and light carpentry.
• Perform property inspections and prepare building/property reports.

Founders 3 is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at an apartment complex in the Oak Creek area.

Responsibilities include monitor the property, conduct daily walk throughs, porter the site inside and out, organize on-site inventory, maintain preventative maintenance programs, oversee repairs to the mechanical systems.

Other Responsibilities Include

• Maintain plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry
• Complete manual repairs such as fixing locks, replacing windows, minor plumbing and electrical
• Conduct general property upkeep including: partial landscaping, pest control, painting and light carpentry
• Perform property inspections
• Prepare building or property reports on computer or tablet

You will be part of a rotation of technicians providing after hours emergency coverage to a portfolio of Founders 3 managed buildings in the area.

• Direct experience with painting, drywall and completing finishing work for unit turns
• General mechanical ability and technological skills
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• A team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, detail orientation and desire to succeed
• Willingness to teach and be taught
• Great customer service skills and follow through
• In good physical condition and have the strength to perform duties essential to perform the job requirements
• Valid Drive License required
