Job summary

Evidence-Based Associates in Lubbock, TX is seeking a licensed mental health professional to work with children and families using the MST treatment model. You will engage in case planning, provide direct clinical treatment, and collaborate with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related subject area.
• Professional licensure preferred: LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMSW under supervision or provisional license with 2 years of full-time experience in related field.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have a current Texas driver’s license, liability auto insurance, and be insurable under the agency’s insurance.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment including Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Engage in weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress, with ongoing support from your supervisor and team members, including through group supervision.
• MST team covers each other’s clients for vacation/time off to maintain work/life balance.
• Receive regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities designed to help you acquire extensive clinical skills within the MST treatment model.
• Provide clinical treatment to families using the MST treatment model and principles.
• Conduct a thorough assessment of the client and family to inform conceptualization of problem behaviors within the family’s ecological context.
• Work comfortably with a diverse community of clients.
• Learn how to effectively connect with the families in the communities served by the team.
• Continuously engage the primary caregiver, family members, supports, and community agency staff in change-oriented treatment.
