Qualifications

• One year of applicable position experience.
• Passed weld test either through pre-employment test or internal weld program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to weld on a truck chassis (Dodge Center only).
• Willingness to learn to change wire.

Responsibilities

• Heat and form metal parts and components using welding equipment; position material to be welded.
• Operate overhead crane to maneuver parts; adjust welding current for proper welds.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following safety procedures and 6S standards.
• Train and work in various areas of production as needed.
• Position, assemble, and weld metal parts as blueprints outline.
• Operate robot/Tube welder and troubleshoot.
• Rework on raw material and in-process welds.
