Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection, home to Bell and Evans' Excellent Chicken, is seeking a Café Server to join the Food Service team. You will help prepare and serve food across multiple kitchen stations, ensuring quality, safety, and timely service.

The role involves cross-training across sandwich, hot line, salad, and pizza stations, with duties including prep, portioning, stocking, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. Shift options include early morning and afternoon hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with food service is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes, portions and presentation standards.
• Willingness to be cross-trained across multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food at sandwich, hot line, salad, and pizza stations.
• Assist with washing, cutting, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure quality.
• Ensure sufficient quantities to meet demand and replenish as needed.
• Monitor food quality, temperatures and holding times.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and Pennsylvania food code procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations and utensils.
• Rotate food using FIFO and manage opening/closing duties.
• Communicate shortages or issues to the supervisor and team.
• Cross-train across stations to support operations.
