Job summary

SC Works Trident is seeking an Accountant and Auditor based in Greenville, SC to manage multi-entity tax compliance and resolve historical filing issues. This role involves coordinating with agencies and ensuring accurate liability recording and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-state tax compliance, working with government tax portals, and strong Excel proficiency. Weekly pay is offered through Godshall.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-state tax compliance (sales/use tax, property tax, and/or business licenses).
• Experience working with tax portals and government agencies.
• Proficiency in Excel and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and resolve outstanding tax filings, notices, and payment discrepancies.
• Manage and maintain access to all state and local tax portals.
• Collect, organize, and maintain a centralized repository of tax filings and correspondence.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and implement standardized compliance tracking procedures.
