Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health in Norman, OK is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide comprehensive care across multiple units including Med/Surg, IMC, ICU, and ED.

You will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to current standards and policies. RN license with BLS and ICU-focused certifications is required.

Qualifications

• Willing to float across Med/Surg, IMC, Critical Care, and Emergency Department.
• Diploma or ADN required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience; ICU experience preferred for ICU roles.
• RN license, BLS, and unit-specific certifications maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic assessments and reassessments of patients, involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Analyze assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
• Implement and coordinate care plans using professional judgment, current standards and policies.
• Evaluate patient outcomes through critical thinking and evidence-based practices, facilitating safe discharges.
• Maintain professional practice standards and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
