Harper GC in Raleigh, NC is seeking skilled labor for pipe installation, concrete forming, and heavy equipment operation. The role involves working on underground and above-ground projects across Raleigh/Greensboro and surrounding areas, with emphasis on safety and precise installation.

The position requires ability to handle physical tasks, operate tools, follow plans, and adapt to varying site conditions. Travel is minimal and a valid US driver’s license is preferred.

Competenze

• Duties require installing and aligning piping, testing for leaks and identifying fittings.
• Operate power tools and gas equipment with proper PPE.
• Install pipe hangers, supports, and related hardware as directed.
• Install, align and startup process equipment on job sites.
• Handle miscellaneous metals and prepare materials prior to installation.
• Assist with site work, trenching, backfill, and material identification as needed.
• Perform basic layout marking on materials using chalk, pencil and gage.
• Construct forms for concrete pours and ensure fall protection measures.

• Perform pipe installation tasks including measuring, cutting, bolting and testing for leaks.
• Use a variety of power tools and gas equipment with PPE.
• Attach pipes to structures with clamps, brackets and hangers.
• Install and start up process equipment, ensuring correct alignment.
• Install miscellaneous metals such as handrails and supports.
• Assist with site excavations and trench work as required.
• Mark cutting lines and ensure plumb, level and square.
• Build forms for concrete pours and follow supervision for safety.
