Job summary

Cardinal Civil Contracting is seeking a skilled Pipe Layer to join our heavy civil and site development team in North Carolina. You will install sewer, water, and storm drain systems, align pipes to line and grade using pipe lasers, and coordinate with operators, helpers, and laborers on active underground projects.

The role requires at least 3 years in underground utility or civil construction, strict OSHA compliance, and a valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• 3 years of underground utility or civil construction experience.
• Ability to read grade stakes and operate pipe lasers.
• Strong safety culture and adherence to OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, and join concrete, ductile iron, and PVC pipe.
• Set drainage structures to grade and laser-controlled alignment.
• Read grade stakes and ensure precise slope; work with equipment operators and helpers.
