Job summary

The Maintenance Technician I at Plymouth Housing Group assists with residential unit turnovers and ongoing maintenance repairs across Plymouth buildings. You will join the Maintenance team, work collaboratively or independently, and operate in occupied and unoccupied units.

This unionized role falls under Local 8 of OPEIU, with a starting wage of $34.29 per hour. The job requires basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep, plus the ability to document work orders and work safely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One year of maintenance experience in multi-family buildings (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, locksmithing).
• Valid Washington State Driver License with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance in Plymouth buildings.
• Carpentry, electrical, plumbing repairs and related tasks.
• Repair and patch walls, install sheet rock, paint interiors/exteriors.
• Complete work orders accurately and safely.
• Assist with unit turnovers and janitorial tasks as needed.
