Job summary

Newly Weds Foods- Corporate in Tennessee is seeking a machine operator to monitor, operate and troubleshoot production equipment, ensuring products meet customer specs while complying with GMP and safety procedures. The machine operator is also required to do complete washouts of the machinery at the end of a production run.

You will perform end-of-run washouts, set up machines, run quality checks, and collaborate with the Area Supervisor to meet daily goals and maintain a safe, efficient shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production floor equipment in high-volume settings.
• Ability to follow SOPs, SSPOs and cleaning procedures precisely.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support production goals.
• Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs and performing basic math.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Perform complete washouts of machinery at end of production run.
• Set up machine at start of shift and adjust components per specs.
• Run safety checks and ensure adherence to GMP and quality procedures.
• Inspect and remove defective items meeting quality standards.
• Assist with moving supplies and supporting other teammates as needed.
