Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a reliable machine operator to monitor, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment to meet customer specifications and maintain GMP and safety standards.

You will perform washouts, set up machines at shift start, run high-volume production, perform quality checks, and assist with line changeovers while maintaining clean, safe work areas and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Cross-trained operator capable of running all production floor equipment.
• Set up machine at beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Perform safety checks and follow SOPs to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot problems during operation and adjust for jams or malfunctions.
• Assist with shift coverage and maintain production workflow while adhering to GMP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce quality products per customer specs.
• Complete washouts of machinery at end of production run.
• Inspect and remove defective items meeting quality standards.
• Assist with line changeovers and shift coverage as needed.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety procedures.
