Job summary

Point Real Estate Management LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support Milwaukee-area apartment communities. The role focuses on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general upkeep to ensure safety, quality, and appearance of properties.

The technician will work under the Property Manager and collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor, handling service requests, preventative maintenance, make-readies, and shared responsibilities across common areas and building

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of full‑time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
Own basic set of hand tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Respond to service requests and complete them in a timely manner, including 24-hour turnarounds for resident requests.
Perform preventative maintenance and upkeep on common areas and building systems.
Prepare apartment homes for new residents (Make Readies) and refurbish as needed.
Replace filters and clean air conditioning vents; perform light electrical repairs and light plumbing work.
Perform HVAC repairs and general carpentry tasks (doors, shelves, flooring) as required.
Assist with custodial tasks and grounds upkeep, and support on-call emergency coverage.
