Point Real Estate Management LLC | PRM is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician for our large multifamily property in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This full-time role supports the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager in daily upkeep.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and HVAC tasks, along with on-call duties and ensuring timely completion of resident service requests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-time maintenance or related trade in multifamily housing.
• Experience with electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC.
• Own basic set of hand tools and valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Perform general maintenance including HVAC repairs and light electrical/plumbing work.
• Refurbish apartments prior to resident occupancy (Make Readies).
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours and participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain pool chemical levels and assist in custodial tasks as needed.
• Assist in grounds work and maintenance of common areas.

Point Real Estate Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to add to our team! This full-time position will be based at our large multifamily property in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have experience and exceptional knowledge working with electricity, plumbing, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and HVAC.

Point Real Estate Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to add to our team! This full-time position will be based at our large multifamily property in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have experience and exceptional knowledge working with electricity, plumbing, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and HVAC. The Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Supervisor with overall maintenance of the physical property, under the direction of the Property Manager.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Customer Service
• Service requests made by residents should be completed within 24 hours
• Assist in the distribution of flyers and other material
• General Maintenance, including but not limited to:
• Replace filters and clean air conditioning vents as needed
• Replace breezeway light bulbs as needed
• Perform HVAC repairs as needed
• Perform light electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc.
• Perform light plumbing work, such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.
• Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, blinds, locks.
• Paint, interior and exterior, when necessary.
• Perform carpentry work, such as fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing and building shelves, sanding and refinishing floors.
• Assist in custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc. in common areas.
• Assist in grounds work when necessary, including picking up litter and “trashing out” vacancies.
• Maintain pool chemical levels and cleanliness.
• Repair concrete, masonry, roof, fencing, when required.
• Be responsible for refurbishing of apartments prior to resident occupancy (Make Readies).
• Have knowledge regarding water and gas meter cutoffs, all apartment and fixture cutoffs, and sewer cleanouts, and post map of same.
• Make keys, change locks and assist in maintaining key control and other work as directed
• On Call
• Handle “on call” duties whenever needed.
• Participate in standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor and Property Manager

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Available to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to perform work responsibilities at other locations in the area, as needed.
