Job summary

MSI Express is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across electrical and mechanical systems in our Indiana facility. You will follow electrical diagrams, operate according to GMP and safety practices, and document work in our CMMS.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, drive and gearbox work, welding and fabrication as needed, plus assisting with changeovers and quality checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years in an industrial setting preferred (food manufacturing background a plus).
• Ability to read safety and maintenance manuals and operate a CMMS.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb regularly and 100 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, PLCs, sensors, and control circuits.
• Document work orders in CMMS via mobile device.
• Train junior technicians and operators on best practices.
