Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment in line with safety and GMP requirements. You will document work orders in a CMMS using a mobile device and support continuous production uptime.

The role requires experience in electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, drives, belts, and welding. Training junior staff and adhering to company policies are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; 2 years industrial experience preferred.
Ability to read safety rules and maintenance manuals.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance.
Proficient with CMMS and handheld devices.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance on drives, belts, and other parts.
Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains motors, PLCs and electrical systems.
Documents work in CMMS using a mobile device.
Trains junior technicians on equipment and troubleshooting practices.
Follows safety and GMP policies; supports food safety and quality.
