Job summary

Ferrara/KME is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repair, and installation of facility systems and equipment to support safe and efficient operations.

The role involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and plumbing issues, reading blueprints, and supporting production with minimal downtime. You will operate forklifts and heavy equipment, work overtime as needed, and maintain a strong focus on safety and quality in varied environments.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read and understand English.
• Willing to work overtime with little notice.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted and 80 lbs with team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and plumbing issues.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment per safety rules.
• Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and manuals.
• Support production by minimizing equipment downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions including heat.
