Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, and facility systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The role supports the production team by minimizing downtime and performing preventative maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, logging work orders, and assisting with new equipment installation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facility systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
• Assist in the installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Working Conditions

• Industrial/manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and chemicals.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and occasional heavy physical work.
• Adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory.
• A Shift (12 hours) - 6Am-6PM
