Job summary

DFA is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production and utility equipment. You will support installation of new equipment, assist operators with training and troubleshooting to minimize downtime, and ensure all repairs are documented.

You will follow DFA safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements and maintain safe working conditions while complying with health and safety regulations. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two years of formal mechanical/electrical education certification or equivalent experience.
SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and utilities.
Support installation of new equipment.
Assist operators with training and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Ensure repairs are documented.
Follow all DFA safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements.
Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
Attend safety and GMP training as required.
Complete maintenance test administered by Maintenance Manager.
