Job summary

The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to perform carpentry, electrical, and mechanical maintenance across hospital facilities. Under Engineering Service leadership, you will address building systems and preventative care throughout the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical and mechanical work.
• Safety procedures and ability to operate ladders and scaffolding.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Paint and refinish furniture, wood and metal such as desks, cabinets, chairs and equipment.
• Construct and repair structural items like frames, walls, stairs, doors and windows.
