Job summary

The City of La Marque is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to maintain City facilities including City Hall, police and fire facilities, libraries, and parks. You will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks to keep buildings safe, functional, and well maintained.

Required hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform carpentry and general repairs. High school diploma and 3–5 years of municipal maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of facility maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Municipal or commercial facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Licensing in HVAC or electrical trades encouraged.
• Experience with safety practices and work order systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs at City facilities and parks.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.
