TICO is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in La Porte, TX. You will perform a variety of tasks to ensure proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities in several states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card.
• Certification in a relevant trade (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment and machines needing repairs and perform routine inspections.
• Determine necessary repairs and diagnose problems.
• Use blueprints or manuals to plan repair work.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues in electrical, structural, plumbing and equipment systems.
• Carry out general repairs including doors, windows, locks, and HVAC maintenance.
• Perform routine plumbing repairs and fix leaks.
• Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the facilities.
• Obtain supplies and materials required for maintenance.
• Load/unload equipment and tools as needed.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and costs.
• Perform carpentry work and install fixtures.
• Handle painting and plastering to maintain appearance.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Work independently or in a team; adapt to weekend or after-hours work for emergencies.
