Job summary

DICKEY-john, part of the TSI Incorporated family, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform building and grounds maintenance across multiple trades in Auburn, IL. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry tasks and preventive maintenance to keep facilities safe and efficient.

Under minimal supervision, you will use CMMS and diagnostic tools to identify issues, repair equipment, and support events. A strong safety mindset and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree, vocational or technical education, equivalent apprenticeship, or Journeyman certification is preferred.
• HVAC, boiler maintenance, facilities maintenance, or hazardous waste management training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building equipment, systems, environment and grounds, identifying problems and repairing or proposing solutions.
• Perform minor plumbing tasks, replace fixtures and clear drains.
• Install electrical systems and maintain pumps, motors and ESD grounding in assembly areas.
• Patch plaster or walls, paint surfaces and maintain ceilings.
• Assist janitorial services and maintain cleanliness of facility.
• Set up furniture and move equipment for events and relocations.
• Operate forklifts and powered lifts for maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
