Job summary

Hope the Mission in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service HTM's program sites in plumbing, electrical, and building systems. The role involves completing work orders, preventive maintenance, and timely reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

This is a hands-on field position serving vulnerable populations in Los Angeles County. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of maintenance experience; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience required.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests through MaintainX efficiently and to quality standards.
• Document the status of each request with photos and materials used.
• Communicate with the Maintenance Manager on scheduling and priorities.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance across multiple trades.
• Identify and escalate issues requiring licensed specialty contractors.
