Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician for our local store in Las Vegas. You will perform routine maintenance to uphold safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart facilities, equipment, or fixtures, following established schedules under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to move up and down ladders frequently; work at heights.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record and ability to pass MVR.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience in trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and hand/power tools.
• Use the work order system to manage reactive repair requests and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
