Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets across the store, using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other trades. You’ll follow maintenance schedules, inspect equipment, and document work orders to support Store operations.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, and vocational or technical certification with 3–5 years of relevant trade experience.

Qualifications

• Must have vocational or technical certification and 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trades, or 5 years total in these trades.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CDL eligibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Utilize work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose issues in facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
