Job summary

Walmart in Las Vegas, NV is seeking Developmental Technicians specializing in General Facilities and Maintenance. You will support stores by maintaining facilities and equipment, performing inspections, cleaning, and repairs under supervision of the Market Manager.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, read English, valid driver's license, and flexibility to work in various temperatures and heights.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Can move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Able to work in various temperatures.
• Must maintain an excellent driving record.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and able to pass motor vehicle report.
• Option 1: 1 year's experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 2 years' Walmart store experience.
• Ability to read and speak the English language as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist or perform under supervision of an experienced technician.
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets.
• Utilize the work order system to manage repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
