Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the local team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will perform routine maintenance to ensure safety, functionality and aesthetics of Walmart facilities, equipment, and fixtures, under supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

You will handle repairs, inspections, and adherence to maintenance schedules while contributing to a welcoming, innovative workplace where team success matters.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• One year of trades experience or two years related work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities and equipment.
• Receive and process repair work orders to support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and diagnose issues with equipment or fixtures.
• Complete safety training to operate equipment and tools.
