Job summary

ABM is a leading provider of facility services, engineering, and infrastructure solutions. The Maintenance Attendant will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems, ensuring safety and efficiency across facilities.

You will work with account and project managers to complete surveys and tasks on time, maintain records, and support maintenance activities, with union benefits and full-time employment arranged.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of similar maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and maintenance software.
• Must have a clean driver’s license and be able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform replacements as needed.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as motors, pumps, and HVAC units.
• Adhere to safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete required training and assist in reading RFPs, creating scopes and estimates.
• Collaborate with account managers, project managers, contractors, and vendors.
