Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a maintenance professional to safeguard the property’s physical integrity and appearance. You will perform routine and complex repairs, address resident service requests, and manage preventative maintenance to keep buildings, grounds, and amenities in top condition.

The role requires HVAC certification, at least one year of general maintenance experience, and availability for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair).
• HVAC certification required; EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired.
• Available for emergency on-call including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical/mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests and track repairs using a work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure safe operation of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections and punch lists.
• Maintain amenities and common areas through regular cleaning and minor repairs.
• Manage tools, inventory, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Support safety policies by attending trainings and reporting incidents.
• Inspect vendors’ work to ensure quality and scope fulfilment.
• Assist in property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
