Job summary

Ludwig and Company, an Illinois property management firm, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a 144-unit community in Decatur, IL. You will supervise routine repairs, respond to maintenance requests, and oversee work orders to ensure timely, quality service across the property.

The role requires trade-level maintenance skills, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and strong customer service. On-call rotation is required and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school certificates in electrical, plumbing, maintenance preferred.
• Solid knowledge of general maintenance and repairs; HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, painting, carpentry, drywall experience beneficial.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of routine repairs, maintenance requests, and work orders throughout the community.
• Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Assess and repair issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and interiors.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Conduct interior and exterior rounds to ensure proper functioning of systems and equipment.
