Job summary

Klosterman Baking Company in Morristown, IN is seeking Production Associates to operate all machinery and produce finished products in accordance with food safety and quality standards. You will fill in for breaks and support a smooth workflow across shifts.

Candidates must be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 100 lbs, and read, write and speak English. Training in Hazardous Materials and Lock Out-Tag Out procedures is required; flexibility for weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• English literacy and ability to read/write basic documentation
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements
• Ability to stand, walk long periods and lift up to 100 lbs
• Basic hazard awareness and willingness to train in safety protocols
• Ability to operate and learn multiple production machines
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate all machinery and perform duties of mixer, HBD operator, wrapping operator, corner person, and utility person
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area
• Record data: times, temperatures, product changes, weights
• Communicate with operators, utility personnel, and supervisors
• Assist supervisor as needed and perform other duties as assigned
• Fill in as Utility Person when mixing duties are completed
• Adjust formulation to conditions of ingredient variations as approved by supervision
• Perform equipment cleaning
