Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. in Golden, CO is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. The role requires 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, a valid US driver’s license, and strong customer-facing communication.

You will support the GMT supervisor and help uphold high workmanship and safety standards on site. Responsibilities include coordinating moves, basic carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and electrical tasks, and assisting electricians and plumbers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with GMT supervisor to determine service needs.
• Coordinates office and furniture moves while performing service on site.
• General maintenance tasks such as changing ceiling tiles, touching up walls, hanging pictures and artwork.
• Plumbing tasks including lavatory sinks and restroom fixtures.
• Preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment and electrical systems.
• Assist in outdoor snow removal and related duties.
• Repair, replacement, and refurbishing of electrical components; assist the electrician.
• Assist the Plumbing GMT and follow safety norms.
