Job summary

BURGER KING is seeking a Maintenance Technician to conduct repairs and preventative maintenance across multiple locations in Florida. You will inspect sites, perform plumbing and electrical work, and ensure compliance with building codes to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a hands-on professional with a personal toolset, strong communication, and the ability to travel between Sanford sites. Weekend availability is part of the schedule in a fast-paced service environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in commercial maintenance or a specialized trade (plumbing, carpentry, or electrical).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex restaurant layouts.
• Must possess a comprehensive personal toolset and reliable transportation to travel between Sanford sites.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with restaurant managers and minimize disruption to food service.

Responsibilities

• Execute general repairs and preventative maintenance across multiple Burger King locations.
• Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify safety hazards or equipment failures.
• Perform intermediate plumbing and electrical repairs, including lighting fixtures, drains, and kitchen hardware.
• Repair or replace damaged drywall, flooring, and tile work to maintain a premium guest experience.
• Install, troubleshoot, and swap out restaurant fixtures and non-HVAC appliances.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure repairs comply with local building codes.
