Job summary

Finlays Solutions seeks a Director of Quality Control to lead quality systems across our five U.S. manufacturing sites. You will drive GFSI-aligned programs, sanitation, and laboratory operations, ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met while delivering data-driven improvements.

You will mentor a multi-site team, manage budgets, and partner with Commercial and R&D to advance quality and food safety across beverage portfolios, including tea, coffee, and fruit-based products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science field and 8+ years in quality management including multisite leadership.
• Certifications: SQF, HACCP Level 3, PCQI; Food Defense/Fraud preferred.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Experience leading quality/food safety across multiple sites and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality systems aligned with GFSI, including food safety, allergens, and sanitation.
• Maintain external certifications (Organic, Fairtrade, RA, Kosher, Halal).
• Oversee HACCP, documentation, non-conformance, audits, and incident management.
• Ensure customer technical requirements are met and collaborate with Commercial.
• Manage budgets, lab throughput, and data storage/traceability.
• Drive continuous improvement and online monitoring deployment.
