Naturally Network is seeking a Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance to lead the FSQA function across multiple internal manufacturing facilities and contract manufacturers for our exclusive brands. The role ensures product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting strategic objectives and brand protection.

The position requires strong leadership, extensive QA/QMS experience, and the ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in quality management systems (QMS), audit processes, and food safety systems.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, quality management software, and ERP systems.
• Strong background in crisis management, food recalls, and quality issue resolution.
• Extensive knowledge of GFSI certifications (BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000, etc.) and regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, FSMA).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time to oversee both internal manufacturing facilities and contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA across multiple facilities and contract manufacturers for exclusive brands.
• Develop and execute an FSQA strategy aligned with goals, standards, and regulatory requirements across internal and contract-manufactured products.
• Maintain GFSI certifications across all owned facilities and ensure contract manufacturers comply with certifications.
• Implement systems for seamless FSQA integration across internal and outsourced networks.
• Oversee FSQA management of contract-manufactured products and conduct supplier audits and CAPA actions.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA and related regulations; manage audits.
• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for quality/safety issues with corrective actions.
• Mentor FSQA teams; provide ongoing training and foster continuous improvement.
• Drive lean/Six Sigma initiatives to enhance safety, quality and efficiency across networks.
• Monitor KPIs; report findings to senior leadership and contract manufacturers.
• Lead crisis management and recall response with cross-functional teams.
