Job summary

AMFM Healthcare is seeking a Primary Therapist - Floater in Vienna, VA to support seven programs in the Fairfax County region. The role involves conducting evaluations, creating treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy in collaboration with a clinical team.

Travel between programs is reimbursed and hours are Sunday to Thursday, 12pm-8:30pm. The candidate will hold a Master’s degree with active licensure (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC or associate).

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited university.
• Active licensure: LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC; associate licenses acceptable.
• Must have active registration with the state licensure board.
• Hands-on experience in Groups, Family Therapy, Individual Therapy; experience with addiction issues.
• Flexibility to work weekends on call and assist with after-hours crisis calls.
• Background check completion per ADP Selective Screening Services and other required checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical evaluation, biopsychosocial assessment, client diagnosis, and treatment planning; provide therapy and crisis interventions as needed.
• Review and sign clinical documentation by provisional clinicians to ensure licensure compliance; sign for interns and staff.
• Provide guidance to graduate practicum students and supervise as required.
• Deliver services in accordance with organizational policies and MH/SA standards and scope of practice.
• Evaluate client and family systems to determine ongoing support and resources.
• Maintain Electronic Health Records to reflect treatment course and required documentation.
• Prepare pre-certification/authorization information for insurance utilization review and concurrent review.
