Western State Hospital, part of the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Floater to provide cross-coverage across the facility and deliver psychiatric care as an NP.

The role requires knowledge of psychiatry at NP level, with responsibilities including assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with clinical teams. Competitive benefits are included and VA employment benefits apply.

• Knowledge of psychiatry at the Nurse Practitioner level with diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Ability to supervise nursing students and collaborate with clinical teams.
