Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a capable practice operations manager to oversee the daily operations of physician practices across multiple locations. The role includes supervising staff, budgeting, monitoring revenue cycle metrics, and ensuring patient satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

The position requires 3–5 years in physician practice settings with at least 2 years in management, plus a Bachelor's degree and CPPM certification is preferred. Travel to various locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company.
• 3–5 years’ experience in physician practice setting with 2 years’ practice management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the physician practice(s), including front and back office functions.
• Supervises staff, resolves problems and implements disciplinary actions; interviews, hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations.
• Develops and monitors the practice budget; manages and monitors key financial and revenue cycle metrics.
• Monitors patient satisfaction reports; addresses variances and resolves patient complaints.
• Monitors quality and performance improvements by tracking metrics and addressing deficiencies.
• Collaborates with physicians, leadership and health professionals to accomplish organizational goals.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements; frequent travel to various practice locations.
