Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative II to draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing while maintaining patient trust and confidentiality. This role may be assigned to doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other sites as required.

You will perform phlebotomy with pediatric and geriatric considerations, verify demographics, and maintain accurate records. Flexibility to travel among locations and work varied hours is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience REQUIRED, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling before and after venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Provide excellent patient service and explain procedures to patients.
• Cover multiple locations; travel between sites as needed.
