Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Float Patient Services Representative to support multiple clinics in Lakeside, Poway, El Cajon, Valley Center and Fallbrook. You will manage front office tasks, schedule appointments, and assist with patient registration to ensure smooth clinic operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes patient experience, coordination with providers and teams, and maintaining accurate records while floating between sites based on needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CA driver license and auto insurance required.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records and multiline phone systems preferred.
• Bilingual ability preferred depending on site needs.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients and visitors.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient registration and insurance verification.
• Maintain accurate scheduling workflows and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with providers and care teams on scheduling needs.
• Float between clinics to maintain patient access during staffing needs.
