You will be the first point of contact for patients, handle registration, verify demographics and insurance, and support clinic operations across Poway, Lakeside, El Cajon, Valley Center, and Fallbrook, adapting to site workflows and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CA driver license required.
• One year customer service experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and multi-line phone systems preferred.
• Bilingual preferred depending on site needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for patients and visitors.
• Greet patients and assist them in a courteous and professional manner.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments in the electronic scheduling system.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and registration data.
• Prepare and verify patient records prior to appointments.
• Tracks filled and cancelled appointments and updates scheduling systems.
