Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in both front and back office settings across multiple sites. You will take vital signs, prepare specimens, coordinate referrals, and help manage patient communications to ensure timely care.

In a Medical Home practice, you will contribute to patient education, track test results, schedule tests, and assist with documentation while maintaining chart accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Multi-physician office experience preferred.
• CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMA/NRCMA/NREMT or externship certification preferred.
• English language proficiency required (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in back and front office duties and coordinate patient questions with the appropriate clinician.
• Take vital signs, room patients, prepare labs, and manage referrals and authorizations.
• Schedule tests, document communications, and maintain patient charts per policy.
• Support patient education and care coordination in Medical Home settings.
