Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in front and back office duties across multiple sites within the health system. The role requires effective communication, accuracy, and teamwork.

You will perform vital signs, room patients, prepare specimens, manage referrals and test orders, and liaise between patients and providers to address questions and coordinate care efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level English language knowledge (reading, writing, speaking).
• Multi-physician office practice experience preferred.
• CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, EMT 1 or externship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in back and front office procedures.
• Serve as liaison between provider and patient for questions or concerns.
• May float to various sites within the health system.
• Assist with rooming, vital signs, specimen preparation and lab orders.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations and test schedules.

EMT 1

Externship (leadership approval)
